Dr. Kat Barclay Ph.D.
Dr. Kathleen Barclay brings extensive experience in corporate management and higher education to the classroom. After becoming one of the first teachers in Arizona to use computers in a classroom, she entered the high-tech industry and spent many years at management and executive levels for small to global corporations. As a 1996 pioneer in live e-learning development and implementation, she then provided ground-breaking research in the field of online, live instruction that is now referenced internationally, published The Live E-Learning Cookbook: Recipes for Success with three associates, and has a chapter in the edited textbook Flexible Learning in an Information Society. Returning to academia over 10 years ago, Dr. Kat became a professor of management, psychology, research, leadership, and industrial organization concepts for university programs, including an exciting time in administration as the Director of Academic Affairs for the University of Phoenix doctoral School of Advanced Studies during a major growth phase. Combining these experiences with training in various organizational change management, sales, and performance productivity programs helps her facilitate student success. Over the years, Kat has published journal articles on leadership and trust in coaching, and several entries in edited books on adult learning techniques.
Dr. Kat is a Certified Executive Coach for a major International consulting firm, a founder of and business coach with StratVisions LLC, and a founder and wellness coach with Lifestyle Wellness Partners LLC. She holds certificates as a Positive Psychology Coach and a Solutions Focused Business Professional Coach for assisting clients to use their strengths to gain personal and professional success and improve business productivity. She holds the SHRM certification of Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
Dr. Barclay earned a Ph.D. in Psychology, with a concentration in Organizational Systems, from Saybrook Graduate School in San Francisco and an M.A. in Personnel Counseling with B.A. in Education from Arizona State University.

Dr. Julie Ducharme resides in San Diego CA. with her husband and two kids Abby and Micah. She has a Ba in Communication and MBA with a specialization in Marketing and a Doctorate of Business administration with a specialization in leadership. Joshua Ducharme M. Ed
Joshua DuCharme has been working in the education system for the last 9 years. He holds a Masters in Education from National University, a CA Cleared Credential (CLAD) from National University, and a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from National University. In this last 9 years he has accomplished many things. He has taught second grade, fifth grade, special education, online collegiate classes, created numerous professional development courses for teachers and administrators, and published papers on topics such as Effective Behavior Managment for elementary teachers, Web 2.0 technolgies in the classroom, and his most recent publication on gamifying your classroom. He continues to serve on boards and committees at his school involving STAR Testing, WASC Accreditation, and helped in creating the technology task team at his school. He helped design the school's website. He continues to serve in the community offering free tutoring services to struggling students and counseling to parents. His expertise extends much farther than the classroom and reaches deep into the community in which he lives.
Matthew Winders is an IT specialist. He holds an AA in Information Technology and holds many certificates in various computer programing and networking. He creates and maintains websites using the latest software and also installs and maintains servers for small and large businesses and schools. Currently Matthew runs an adaptive computer lab for physically and mentally disabled students that JD Consulting created. Matthew continues to offer his services to teach people in the community so that their businesses can thrive.
After completing undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology, Visual Communications Gary began a career in IT. Starting as a computer operator in the era of mainframe and mini computers, Gary quickly advanced through programmer to IT Manager. Realizing that a growth opportunity
in the computer industry was not being well addressed, Gary and his wife and partner started the first computer training company in the state of Arizona. He was also instrumental in the creation of the Computer Training Institute at Arizona State University. During this time, Gary also created specialized accounting software for
a number of Arizona companies. Returning to California, Gary helped to establish one of the largest private computer training organizations in the San Francisco Bay area. Desiring a more creative outlet, Gary moved into web design and web design training, working with clients in California, Hawaii, and Arizona. Seeking to move beyond technology, Gary returned to school, became certified in Wellness Counseling/Coaching at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, and embarked on a new career assisting clients to create healthier lifestyles.
Gary continued his education and earned a Master of Arts in Psychology with a specialization in Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine from Northcentral University.
For the past 15 years, Gary has focused on lifestyle change. He has continued to
be trained or certified in a number of specializations to further enhance his work
with people: Wellcoaches’ Wellness Coaching, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist,
Certified Hypnoanesthesiologist, Interactive Guided Imagery, Mind-Body Medicine
through the highly respected Center for Mind-Body Medicine, and Solutions Focused
Business Professional Coach. Gary is also holds a certification as Faculty
by WELCOA (Wellness Council of America), the premier resource for workplace
wellness in America. To expand his coaching services, Gary also received training
as a Nutritionist through the University of California at San Francisco, Vanderbilt
University, and University of Florida.
Dr. Karen Walker
Dr. Walker is a well decorated Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps. Her smile and charming personality will reign in any small crowd. But it is her voice that captivates so many as they are astonished how she commands respect with her introspective soft-spoken tone. Speaking with her is a pleasant experience and before you know it you’ve learned something new. Dr. Walker is an expert in organizational psychology, and she is an advocate for diversity and change. She has a Ph.D. in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, a Masters Degree in Human Behavior and a Bachelors Degree in Communications. She has an extensive background in government and corporate industries as well as in academia as she has worked with: the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Secret Service, Federal Aviation Administration, Synergy Learning Institute, Final Notice Investigative Services Group, University of New Mexico, and University of the Rockies. Dr Walker and her son Cayleb love exploring new places together every opportunity that they get. She enjoys the solitude of being under the sea scuba diving in exotic waters, and to say that she is a fan and loves the game of basketball is an understatement.
Lynda Martin has more than 24 years experience as a television and radio news anchor and as a public relations and communications consultant for private and public organizations.
Lynda's experience in public relations and communications stems from being a five-time Emmy nominated Television News Anchor on XETV CW6, KSWB Channel 5 and as a Radio News Anchor on KOGO AM 600 and AM760 KFMB. She won the Edward R. Murrow Team Award which is presented by the Radio Television Digital News Association in recognition of outstanding achievements in electronic journalism. Lynda has covered national and local breaking news events and has interviewed politicians and celebrities ranging from Senator Edward Kennedy, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Newt Gingrich, Academy Award Winners Marisa Tomei and Richard Dreyfuss. She even danced "The Twist" with Chubby Checker on live television during the Channel 6 Morning Show.
Born in London England, Martin has now become a leading member of the San Diego community serving as a Board Member of both the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Make A Wish Foundation, as well a regular volunteer for the Special Olympics, In 2003, she was honored as "One of San Diego’s 50 People to Watch," Lynda has a twin brother with autism and has been actively involved with the National Foundation for Autism Research and fundraising efforts for the YMCA.
The joy of Lynda's life is raising two boys as a single mom. In her spare time, Lynda enjoys running, cruising on her bike near her home in Coronado and hosting nonprofit events.
During her 20 years, plus in broadcasting, Katy has seen success as a sports anchor, reporter, and producer. She’s worked at 2 Olympics, as the beat reporter for the Atlanta Braves at Fox Sports South, for the NFL network, and in Fresno, San Francisco, and San Diego covering local and national sports. She also has taught broadcasting students and still mentors young talent. Katy broadened her expertise by branching out into a business environment and worked for Bedrock Technology Partners as an account and project manager. This experience required a different type of presentation skill which she has incorporated into her program. This coaching program has been built with her knowledge, expertise, and passion. Katy coaches and trains business and sports executives and professionals to successfully prepare and deliver their messages. Her individual care and focus has resulted in a list returning clients.
Renee Kohn, M.A
After working on TV as a meteorologist, host, and feature reporter for more than 20 years, Renee now empowers, motivates and leads people and companies to reach their full potential. She's passionate about positively changing lives and organizations in her work as a transformational coach, workshop leader, and national speaker. Word of warning....Renee will make you deep belly laugh! As a professional improv comedian, Renee infuses HUMOR, FUN, AND JOY in her workshops --and will usually make YOU play wild, wacky games with her, too! Renee has a Master's Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. She's done personal development work for twenty-five years.
